2026 Chair

Janine M. Budzius, CCM, CCE

Janine M. Budzius, CCM (Certified Club Manager), CCE (Certified Chief Executive), was elected the Chair of the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) Board of Directors at its 2026 World Conference and Club Business Expo, held in Anaheim, CA, in February. She was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2019 and re-elected in 2022.

Budzius currently serves as the General Manager/Chief Operating Officer of Houston Country Club in Houston, TX. Prior to that appointment, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne, PA, from 2003 to 2023, the Clubhouse Manager of Perry Park Country Club in Perry Park, CO, from 2001 to 2002, and the Assistant General Manager of Lakewood Country Club in Lakewood, CO, from 1997 to 2001.

Budzius first joined CMAA in 1998. She earned her CCM designation in 2002 and achieved her CCE designation in 2012. She has served on multiple national committees including the Audit, Budget & Finance, Certification, Communications, Chapter Relations, Professional Development, and Strategic Planning & Organizational Culture Committee Committees. Additionally, she served as the Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force. In 2026, Budzius will chair the Conference Committee as it prepares for CMAA’s Centennial event in 2027.

As CMAA Chair, Budzius will collaborate with the membership, National Committees and Task Forces, Partners, and the National Headquarters team to advance the profession. As CMAA nears its Centennial, the Board is dedicated to fostering a thriving club industry by supporting CMAA-educated professionals and guiding the implementation of CMAA's Strategic Plan.
