Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program
The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program (ACSP) is an education and certification program that helps organizations and businesses protect the environment while enhancing their bottom line. The "plan-do-check-act" approach of the program offers information and guidance to implement an environmental management plan that improves efficiency, conserves resources, and promotes conservation efforts. Audubon International awards certification to publicly recognize and reward the environmental achievements and leadership of ACSP members.
ACSP works with a wide-range of club facilities. To join, visit Audubon International’s website or contact Doug Bechtel, Associate Director of Environmental Programs, at (518) 767-9051 ext. 114 or firstname.lastname@example.org. To learn more visit www.auduboninternational.org/acsp.
Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf
Incorporating many of the same practices and principles of ACSP, the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf is an award-winning education and certification program tailored to helping golf courses protect the environment and preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf. By helping to improve efficiency, minimize impacts of golf course operations, and enhance the valuable natural areas and wildlife habitats provided by golf courses, ACSP for Golf serves as a vital resource for golf courses wanting to make a difference and earn recognition for doing so.
ACSP for Golf works with golf courses around the world. To join, visit Audubon International’s website or contact Doug Bechtel, Associate Director of Environmental Programs, at (518) 767-9051 ext. 114 or email@example.com. To learn more visit www.auduboninternational.org/acspgolf.
Signature and Classic Programs
Audubon International’s prestigious Signature Program goes a step further than ACSP and ACSP for Golf by starting sustainability planning at the beginning stages of development for a golf course or club facility. By working closely with planners, architects, managers, and key stakeholders, the Signature Program helps landowners and developers implement sustainable design and management practices so both economic and environmental objectives are achieved and attained over time. The Classic Program is similar to the Signature Program in structure and rigor, but is designed for properties that are undergoing significant remodeling or renovation.
The Signature and Classic Programs work with new golf courses or club facilities around the world undergoing development or remodel. To join, visit Audubon International’s website or contact Nancy Richardson at 270-869-9418 or firstname.lastname@example.org. To learn more visit www.auduboninternational/signature or www.auduboninternational.org/classic.
Promotion and Recognition
Together, Audubon International and your club can pursue common interests by aligning goals and strategies that advance course playability and player experience while simultaneously enhancing the facility’s triple bottom line: economic, environmental and social capital.
Audubon International will raise public awareness about your club’s environmental efforts and accomplishments, which can help you stand out as a leader in sustainability. Facilities that are designed and managed to Audubon International program standards become true assets to their communities. Audubon International makes its experienced professional team highly accessible to all appropriate club executives, facility managers, contractors, spokespeople and mass communications specialists, and other key stakeholders throughout the process.
