Nominations Open for 2019 Club Executive of the Year

Each year, Club Management magazine recognizes excellence in club leadership with its Club Executive of the Year Award. Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 award. This prestigious honor is presented to the club executive who most embodies the values, vision, and professionalism of the Club Management Association of America. To nominate a member, please access the submission guidelines at www.cmaa.org/ceoy. Nominations must be received by August 30.

Is Renovation in Your Club’s Future? Attend the Capital Improvements Summit

Hosted at the University Club of Chicago and Union League Club in Chicago, IL, October 15-17, the Capital Improvements Summit will focus on construction management in clubs and the competencies a club management professional needs to complete a successful project, renovation, or deconstruction. Topics will be diverse and extensive and cover every aspect from start to finish of a major project including obtaining member approval for the project, contracts/draw schedule, project cost estimating, assembling the team and roles and responsibilities, financing, feasibility and valuation, and project management. Taste, Pair, and Sip at the 2019 BMI Wine and Food Experience 
The BMI Wine and Food Experience will take place in Napa, California, September 23-26. 2019. The four-day program will begin with two days of education and instruction at the Culinary Institute of America’s (CIA) Copia Campus, located in downtown Napa, and six vineyards and wineries located in Napa.
