Special Club Features
The Lake Naomi Club equally serves Lake Naomi and Timber Trails as one Community and is organized to promote and encourage recreational and social activities among its Members, to advance local pride and to provide, maintain and operate the recreational, social and related facilities required for these purposes. The Club is directed by a Board of Trustees and a Board of Governors. Members of the Board of Governors chair and serve on various committees which provide input to the Board of Governors on the management of the various functions.

The Lake Naomi Club in an upscale member-owned Platinum Club of America Country Club Community organized in 1963, with 1,650 members whose average age is forty-seven located in the mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania, two hours west of Manhattan and two hours north of Philadelphia. Annual operating budget of $10 million. Facilities are spread out over 3,000 acres and include a 9 hole USGA rated golf course, 18 soft surface tennis courts, 2 outdoor swimming pools totaling 20,000 square feet, 3 lakes, 3 ponds, competitive sailing program, extensive childrens, pre-teen, teen and family recreation programs, cross-country skiing as well as hiking trails, 2 maintenance complexes, 2 private restaurant/clubhouses and an administrative office. The Lake Naomi Clubhouse is open year-round and features two dining rooms, grill room with lounge and fireplace, and outdoor dining deck. Seasonal cafes also located on Club Beach and at the two outdoor pools. Ten year old 48,000 square foot Community Center with an indoor swimming pool with water feature, state of the art fitness center and aerobics studio, multi-purpose space capable of accommodating two indoor tennis courts, cafe, covered pavilion, paddle tennis court and much more. Club located 15 minutes from 3 major ski areas.
The Food and Beverage Director will oversee most of the day-to-day food and beverage operations of the Club. Looking for an Food and Beverage Director capable of assuring excellent service to a very active, diverse and caring membership who view the Club as their country escape from the rigors of urban life. As part of the Leadership Team, the Food and Beverage Director is responsible for leading the Club's member dining services as well as any other food and beverage efforts throughout the Club. Looking for a committed, creative and innovative professional. Excellent department heads and support staff in place.
The position is available immediately for a detail oriented team builder looking to explore an outstanding and challenging opportunity. Weekend and evening work required.
Candidate Qualifications
The expectation is that the integrity of the Food and Beverage is foremost and that he/she will provide innovative, visionary and strategic leadership to the House Committee and Team Members. He/she will be capable of recognizing and proactively anticipating trends and relevant impact to LNC Food and Beverage department.
The ideal candidate must possess skills and a keenness toward budgeting and financial management in order to lead the Club’s Food and Beverage department in meeting its budgeting and financial objectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required along with proficiency in food and beverage. Minimum of five years in Food & Beverage Management. Knowledge of Point-of-Sale Software preferred (Club is currently using Northstar Technologies). Bachelors degree required. The successful candidate will ensure that LNC is consistently striving to provide the best programs and service in the area, continually enhancing its overall position as a Platinum Club of America.
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include incentive compensation, health, disability and life insurance, pension plan (Club contributes 5%), opportunity to contribute to a 401K with pre-tax payroll deduction, vacation, conference and workshop allowance, CMAA memberships and use of Club provided vehicle. Candidates from the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions preferred. The Club will pay reasonable and customary expenses associated with interviewing.
