Golf Facilities

  • 18 hole course, par 71, designed by John N. Cochran
The course stretches 6,715 yards and offers 5 sets of tees to accommodate all levels of golfers. Built by the prestigious Wadsworth Company of Chicago, the course was the first home of the Quad City Open (now known as the John Deere Classic). The club does not have tee times and the pace of play is consistent with, and often better than, the regulation 4-hour round. A very active golf and junior programs led by Mike Scott, PGA Professional and two assistants. Club owned pro shop.

The Director of Tennis, leads a very active program that includes juniors, ladies and mixed groups. The courts are open and available on a first-come, first serve basis from April through October. A tennis ball machine is available for practice during club hours. *Coming in 2019 brand new Tennis Courts and Pickleball Courts.

Swimming Facilities

A zero-depth, graduated entrance, Olympic size swimming pool with a diving well. The pool manager and staff provide excellent instruction and supervision for the safety of our members and their guests. Swim lessons are offered for the youngest through advanced swimmers during the summer. The pool has a resort feel that can not be matched in the area.

Crow Valley Golf Club in Davenport, IA is seeking a high-level Clubhouse Manager! This person will oversee clubhouse daily operations and act as the GM’s right hand.   

This individual will ensure a positive, energetic, respectful and fun staff culture and will hold others accountable on a daily basis. This person will “own” hiring, training, developing and managing all clubhouse staff including: casual dining, upscale casual dining, bar and lounge, pool snack bar, events, halfway house, youth activities, swimming pool operations, housekeeping and overall member service.

Here’s the Deal! The General Manager is looking for a “Go To Person” who is energetic, eager to take on responsibility and READY TO ROCK! This individual must be self-motivated, disciplined, detail driven and a hands-on delegator! Unlimited potential to grow and learn in a fast paced environment!  

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates Must Have:

  • The ability to lead a staff to provide exceptional levels of service consistently.
  • The ability to manage and “own” all facets of the front of the house food and beverage operation.
  • The ability to communicate (orally and in writing) policies, procedures, standards and expectations and ensure accountability.
  • The experience and willingness to continuously develop employees and raise the game we are playing.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends and have a true presence throughout the clubhouse consistently.

Educational Requirements

Experience and Educational Qualifications:

  • At least two years of private club experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years food and beverage management experience.
  • A four-year hospitality degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to successfully operate a high-volume food and beverage facility.
