The primary role of the Assistant Manager is to manage the three member dining areas and assist with banquets. Key elements will include properly staffing and identifying trends in service. Continued staff training and close supervision must be executed to achieve this. The Manager must remain on the floor to assist with member and guest needs.
An emphasis on Banquet events and execution of the events will be developed. Proper training and anticipation for function setup, execution and tear down will be crucial. Scheduling staff to handle multiple functions and assisting members and guests with their event needs will be part of the Manager’s job.
Overall F&B management will be developed. Successfully adhering to budgeted costs, wages, and other budget items will be imperative. Coordinating service amongst all F&B outlets during the PGA TOUR Sanderson Farms Championship will be an immense roll as well.
The Country Club of Jackson has been the host site for the PGA TOUR Sanderson Farms Championship since 2014, and has the longest on tour contract through 2030.
