Other Athletic Facilities
Belfair also offers members and guests use of a full service 9,000 square foot fitness center, basketball courts, beach volleyball, soccer field and dog park.
Special Club Features
Belfair is located just 15 minutes west of Hilton Head, South Carolina. There are several private gated communities in the area, which we compete with for members. We are a bundled community meaning that all members are equal and there is one membership category. All owners of property or a home are obligated to be members, so our "club" is everything inside the gates and we provide service in all areas of the 1,100 acre community. Our typical country club facilities are referred to as amenities available to the members (i.e. golf, tennis, fitness, dining, etc.). This allows for no differentiation among the members and we offer them top notch experiences. 60% of the members live inside the community full time, 15% live in Hilton Head owning property in the community and 25% either live elsewhere and have a second home or a lot.
In 2012 Belfair was named a Platinum Club of America! Our members are extremely active and enjoy the amenities to the fullest. Most of our members have re-located from the northeast or midwest with many still working and many retiring.
