The Pinnacle Club has one large dining room and seven additional rooms for dining for small groups. The seating capacity ranges from 10-300. The main dining room can accommodate 300 guests. Edgar's Above Broad features an outdoor terrace with food service and a full service bar.

Special Club Features

This role will be the operations leader for two venues.  The first being the private club setting for business and social member experiences, and the second is an open to the public terrace restaurant and bar featuring tapas, craft cocktails, a large outdoor space for events and entertainment with an airstream bar, bocce ball and an outdoor putting green.  

Club is open 5 days per week, 12 months per year.

General Manager

Edgar’s Hospitality Group (www.edgarshospitality.com) is seeking an energized hospitality professional to manage the Pinnacle Club, a revitalized downtown Augusta staple and co-located Edgar’s Above Broad, an exciting new indoor-outdoor eatery located on the third floor of the Augusta University Building on lower Broad Street.

Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Edgar’s Hospitality Group, the General Manager will provide balanced support to all operations with a focus and commitment to delivering a world-class experience, ensuring financial goals are achieved, and creating a vibrant applied learning environment for Helms College (www.helms.edu) Resort and Club Operations degree students.   This role is an active working manager.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business club or other private club setting, as well as high volume restaurant/bar operations, preferably in a rooftop setting or exclusive club.  Alternatively experience in a high-end boutique hotel with multiple F&B outlets would be considered.
  • Exhibit elevated service and craft beverage knowledge
  • Passion for setting high standards, and effectively select and train a team to deliver those standards consistently
  • Knowledge and ability to drive results in P&L, F&B, and labor costs
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible
  • Problem solving skills
  • Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
  • Highly Skilled at serving premium or VIP level guests and exceeding their needs and expectations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.

Salary range is: $70-90K dependent upon experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance along with paid time off.
