Jack Slaughter, CCM, CCE
Jack S. Slaughter, CCM, CCE (Certified Club Manager, Certified Chief Executive), General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Carolina Country Club in Raleigh, NC, was elected to the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) Board of Directors at its 2022 World Conference and Club Business Expo, held in San Diego, CA. He was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for a three-year term.
Slaughter has served as the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Carolina Country Club since 2007. Prior to that appointment, he served as the General Manager/Chief Operating Officer of the Louisville Country Club from 1997-2007, as the General Manager of the Saugahatchee Country Club from 1990-1997, as the Club Manager of The Farm Golf Club in 1989, as the Clubhouse Manager of the Atlanta Country Club from 1987-1989, and as the Executive Chef and Interim Manager at Berry Hills Country Club from 1982-1983.
Slaughter first joined CMAA in 1988 and earned his CCM designation in 1994. He has served on national committees including the Club Management Institute Committee. He has also served as a World Conference Mentor to CMAA Student Members and has served on At-Conference committees. In 2024, he will chair the Research Committee.
On the chapter level, Slaughter has been an active member of the Carolinas Chapter, serving as the Chapter Foundation President in 2020 and on multiple Chapter committees.
As a CMAA Board member, Slaughter will work together with the membership, National Committees and Task Forces, Partners, and the National Headquarters team to advance the profession and the broader industry collaboratively.
