Mark A. Bado, MCM, CCE

Mark A. Bado, MCM (Master Club Manager), CCE (Certified Chief Executive), General Manager of Myers Park Country Club, was elected the Chairman of the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) Board of Directors at its 2020 World Conference and Club Business Expo, held in Grapevine, TX. Bado was first elected to the CMAA Board of Directors in 2014.

Bado has served as the General Manager of Myers Park Country Club in Charlotte, NC, since late 2016. He began his career in club management at the Wildwood Golf Club in Allison Park, PA in 1998 before moving to the Country Club of Peoria in Peoria, IL in 2004, and The Kansas City Country Club in Mission Hills, KS, in 2008.  

Bado became a member of CMAA in 1997 and has served on many national committees such as the Conference Education Evaluation Committee, the Club Management Institute Committee, the Premier Club Services Committee and the Technology Committee. Additionally, he has served as the Midwest Education Symposium Co-Chair and the Mentoring Council Co-Chair. 

As Immediate Past Chairman, Bado will lead the 2021 Nominating Committee.
