Rob Oosterhuis, CCM, CCE, PGA, CAM
Rob Oosterhuis, CCM (Certified Club Manager), CCE (Certified Chief Executive), PGA, the General Manager/COO of Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club in Boca Raton, FL, was elected to the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) Board of Directors at its 2025 World Conference and Club Business Expo, held in Tampa, FL, in February. He was elected for a three-year term.
Oosterhuis has served as the General Manager/COO of Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club since 2020. Prior to that appointment, he served as the General Manager/COO of Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA, from 2016 to 2020. From 2009 to 2016, he was the Director of Clubs for the Four Seasons Resort in Santa Barbara, CA, overseeing Montecito Country Club and the Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club. From 2006 to 2009, he served as the Corporate Director of Golf for JC Resorts in San Diego, CA. He was the Director of Golf from 2003 to 2006, at the Four Seasons Resort in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. His first management role in the industry was the Head Golf Professional at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Las Colinas in Irving, TX, beginning in 2000.
Oosterhuis first joined CMAA in 2009. He has been committed to professional development, earning his CCM designation in 2015, and earning admittance to CMAA’s Honor Society and his CCE designation in 2019. Oosterhuis has served on the CMAA Professional Development and Elections Committees. In 2025, he will chair the Research Committee.
Within his local community, Oosterhuis has been an active member of the Golden State and Florida Chapters. Additionally, he has been a member of the PGA of America since 2003. He served in various roles for the Southern California Section and was honored as its 2020 Golf Professional of the Year.
As a CMAA Board member, Oosterhuis will collaborate with the membership, National Committees and Task Forces, Partners, and the National Headquarters team to advance the profession and foster a thriving club industry by supporting CMAA-educated professionals.
