Chris Velo

Chris is a long tenured member of CMAA and has more than twenty years of IT experience. A veteran of the membership and education staff, Chris leverages his breadth of experience to bring technology into alignment with CMAA's strategic focus. He stresses the importance of technology as a tool and exhibits a predilection for examining the big picture when delivering solutions. Chris oversees technology from the desk to the Cloud. His responsibilities also extend to CMAA's websites.

Chris also oversees CMAA's building infrastructure, working closely with property management and as liaison to the property owner's association.

Chris has previous association related experience with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Blue Ridge Chapter and the International Center at the University of Virginia.

Chris holds degrees in both Sociology and Information Technology from the University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech respectively.
