Jason Tate

Jason Tate is the Chief Financial Officer for CMAA. For the past 4+ years he has worked with CMAA and helped to stabilize the financial growth of the organization.

Prior to CMAA, he worked for the Entrepreneurs’ Organization for 20 years, a global based membership organization with a mission to engage leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow. Jason helped to grow the organization from 1,200 to 12,000+ members with 167 chapters in 52 countries. As the SVP, Operations, he led the finance and human resources department to build a $6M+ reserve and manage a staff of 100+, respectively.

He began his work career in public accounting, specializing in non-profits in White Plains, NY and Bethesda, MD. Jason received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from James Madison University.

Jason served for seven years as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees for Encore Stage and Studio, a children’s theater in Arlington, VA. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He also participates in a CFO Association roundtable monthly.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys reading, traveling, golf, and tennis. He has been married for 30 years to Liz and is the proud father of two great daughters, Olivia and Isabel.
