The Power of Mentorship
CMAA recently launched a Mid-Manager Task Force with the clear objective to help shape the vision of and outlook for the club industry’s rising stars and imminent leaders. One of the group’s first initiatives is connecting mid managers from around the country via Zoom. Led by seasoned club managers/experts with experience in and passion for this niche area of hospitality, these one-hour interactive calls will give you guidance and support on your career path.
Join your fellow mid-level managers on June 27 at 2:00 p.m. ET for the second Mid-Manager Power Hour.
Having a good mentor can help you achieve your professional goals and objectives in ways you wouldn’t have otherwise expected. A mentor/mentee relationship helps newer club managers gain traction in the industry and build connections with experienced professionals. Find out how these relationships begin and grow, and how to facilitate them to get the most out of the experience—even if you’re already in one! Jim Cardamone, CCM, CCE (Glen Oak Country Club in Glen Ellyn, IL) and Todd Marsh, CCM, CCE (Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, IL) will share the powerful relationship they have curated over the course of their careers that has now transcended the profession and has become special to each of them personally.
Don't miss this opportunity to gain practical career insight from some of the best minds in the business. This Zoom call will be facilitated by CMAA Board Member and Mid-Manager Task Force Chair, Casey Newman, CCM (Lakeside Country Club in Houston, TX).
