Option 1: Golf – Jacks Point

“Jack’s Point was simply unforgettable. I haven’t seen such an exciting layout for a very long time and the condition of the pure fescue fairways is unmatched in my experience.”

— Peter Dawson, Chief Executive of R&A

With a backdrop of 2,300 vertical meters of the Remarkables mountain range and an armchair view of an outstanding lake panorama, Jack’s Point Golf course is one of the most visually spectacular in the world. As an 18-hole par 72 championship course, it offers golfers an exciting challenge with five tee positions to choose from, providing all golfers an unforgettable golf experience. While this is a private course, we embrace the opportunity to showcase our championship course to the golfing fraternity.

The course has been designed around the natural landscape, with minimal excavation. The course measures 6,388 meters (6,986 yards) from the championship tees and is built on the most spectacular of Jack’s Point terrain --designed in harmony with the natural and local eco environment, weaving through native tussock grasslands, dramatic rock outcrops, steep bluffs and swathes of native bush to the edge of Lake Wakatipu. The presentation of the course is second to none, which makes Jack’s Point one of the world’s great golfing experiences. Located beneath the Remarkables mountain range, Jack’s Point is 20 minutes from downtown Queenstown.

Team Building Philosophy

At very heart of all organizations lays the one common success factor – People. Achievement of goals and winning relies on the ability of your people to perform day in and day out under different circumstances, sometimes under a great deal of stress. Moonlight Country’s Team Building Activities will work with your organization to help growth and development beyond preconceived limitations.

Team building in itself is an outcome and we encourage you to describe the change you hope to see in your people on completion of this program. This is a means to identify the skills you expect to be gained from the program and therefore delivered on during the training.

This will then help identify activities and more importantly approaches to activities, which will match your expectations and create a platform for achieving the desired outcomes.

Whether your needs are a fun and simple activity to energize your team or an in-depth review and development of your strategic plan, we can work with you to deliver effective training and development strategies to your organization.

We are here at Moonlight Country this morning to “get down and dirty” out on the farm and partake in team building exercises with a difference. Build a team to succeed at

  • Gold panning
  • Horse shoe pitching
  • Toss the wheat sheath

After a strenuous workout, you can now relax and sample a classic Central Otago, farm-style buffet lunch.
