Have You Checked Out All of the Chapter Officer Resources?
CMAA’s Chapters are vibrant and thriving communities, driven by dedicated Managing Directors and volunteer leaders. Thank you for the part you play to help CMAA’s Chapters flourish! We want to remind you that there are many resources available to you to help you succeed in your leadership role(s).
- Chapter Management Resources: This section of CMAA’s website is the hub for all things Chapter management. It contains tools and resources that can assist in running your Chapter.
- Chapter Officer Position Descriptions and Resources: In this section of CMAA’s website, you can check out the description, duties, and additional resources available for each Chapter position. Take some time to look at your position description and make sure your Chapter’s leadership is doing the same.
- Blueprint for Chapter Success: The Blueprint for Chapter Success is a document designed to lead CMAA Chapter officers through a process of self-evaluation and goal-setting. It is a tool that can be used every year as you plan for your Chapter’s success.
- Chapter Directory: Need to reach out to another Chapter? A good place to start is the Chapter Directory. It lists all Chapters, their main point of contact, and a link to their website if applicable.
- Chapter Leader FAQs: This resource provides answers to the most frequently asked questions that the CMAA National Headquarters team gets from Chapter leaders. Check it out to get your questions answered! If you have additional questions, please reach out to Erica Benjamin or Alanna Eckard for assistance.
- Chapter Digest: Last but certainly not least, Chapter Digest focuses on the skills and information necessary for successful Chapter operations and management. There is a timely tip or piece of information for each Chapter Officer to share with their Chapter members.
Hopefully this has been a good refresher on what is available to you as a Chapter leader. We are here to assist however we can. Thank you for the part you play in making CMAA’s Chapter network so special!

All Officers
There’s No Place Like CMAA. That is CMAA’s 2024 theme! At your next meeting, take some time to talk as a Chapter about how this theme has shown up in various ways this year—both at your clubs and in your Chapter. The Chapter of the Year Award Program will be centered around this theme and will be made available to Chapters in July. So be on the lookout and start thinking about your entry! We can’t wait to see how you’ve made this theme come to life as a Chapter.

Participate in the Club Employee Demographic Assessment
CMAA and The Club Foundation are collaborating on the Club Employee Demographic Assessment (CEDA) to help provide valuable information toward understanding the demographics of private club employees. CEDA represents a comprehensive and confidential tool for clubs to assess and benchmark themselves against other clubs. The deadline to complete this survey is June 28.
To encourage participation, we are offering a $100 Amazon gift card to 10 clubs that complete our survey. These 10 clubs will be selected randomly after the deadline and the gift cards will be delivered via email. To be eligible for the gift card drawing, your club must complete all the necessary sections.
