Annual Career Networking Symposium & Expo

Together with the UW-Stout Student Chapter, we orchestrated the Annual Career Networking Symposium & Expo at UW-Stout.
Leaders of the student chapter worked diligently to market this event to all hospitality students on campus. By reaching out to ALL hospitality students and not just those in the CMAA student chapter we were able to introduce the idea of working in clubs to a larger group of students.

Implementation

Participating clubs from Minnesota and Wisconsin and even as far east as Massachusetts presented internship and full-time employment opportunities.

Managing Directors from Wisconsin and Minnesota shared intern booklets from their respective chapters and talked with students about career options within the club
industry.

Following the expo, a panel of industry professionals shared their experiences in the industry, spoke about the role CMAA has played in their careers, and answered student questions.

The evening concluded with a pizza buffet and a raffle drawing. The event proved to be a fantastic opportunity to recruit talent, grow the CMAA Student Chapter, and network with future leaders.
