Annual Meeting and Vendor Show

Entry Details

At our Annual Meeting and Vendor Show we wanted to make the most of our time together. For the first time we hosted a Chapter Idea Fair to generate the interest for the CMAA National Conference Idea Fair. One of our submissions won first prize at both our local chapter and national level. We also did a "Wine Round-up" to support the CMAA International Wine Society Wine Auction held at CMAA National Conference. Our chapter won the both Buckey Award for medium size chapter.

Implementation

The judging of the Chapter Idea Fair was done by the chapter members and we selected a overall first place winner. We had 14 submissions for our first year. We gave away tickets for CMAA Swag items for each bottle of wine donated. The Boards and Wine were collected and shipped to the CMAA Conference for submissions. The Chapter Members were thrilled at the additions to our annual meeting, since many had never attended a national conference and seen these displays in person.
