Chapter Intern

Entry Details

The Board wanted to create an internship for the Chapter to give a student the opportunity to learn more about the world of association management and in turn take a deeper dive and see a different side of club management.  The intern worked directly with the Managing Director assisting with a large array of tasks. This was especially helpful in the summer when Board/Committee engagement is low due to demanding summer work schedules. This was a win-win for the Chapter and the student.

Implementation

The reaction from the Board and Chapter were instantly and overwhelmingly positive. She was excellent with time management skills, attention to detail, had strong verbal and written skills and possessed a strong knowledge of social media. The time she spent with us was invaluable and created a great deal of value to the Chapter.
