Chef of the Carolinas & Vendor Show

The Chef of the Carolinas & Vendor Show is a favorite event and a great way for our members and their teams to engage with our valued sponsors and industry-supporting vendor partners.  Members are able to walk through the Vendor Show while enjoying a glass of wine and the Chef of the Carolinas Competition. Club chefs from around the Chapter show off and showcase their talents as they vie for the titles of "Chef of the Carolinas" and "People's Choice."  Every dollar raised from this event support Carolinas Student Chapter members by funding their participation at the National Student Education Conference and World Conference. This event enhances our chapter from a member engagement, community outreach and student & faculty engagement standpoint.

Implementation

We get 10-12 Carolinas Club Chefs to participate - they provide the food and prepare it. We book the vendor show with chapter sponsors and vendors. And then they day of, everyone attends the event and it's more like a reception than a vendor show. We used to have these two events separate but by combining them, we have been able to create a fun, laid back and more enjoyable Vendor appreciation event that everyone loves to participate in.
