DEI is a Collaborative Effort

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is an important topic, not just at the national level, but also at the chapter level. By hosting a seminar dedicated to DEI, our chapter members were able to engage in a conversation, and a continued dialogue within their own teams and clubs.

Implementation

Our chapter has embodied the belief that leadership is inspiring others to be more than they thought they could be, and this includes leadership that is diverse and inclusive.

We started with the framework set forth by the CMAA Diversity and Equity in Leadership Task Force, and included perspectives from an industry leader and local community leader on how members can make an actionable impact in both their clubs and communities. The reaction from chapter members has been incredibly positive.
