The Chapter organized an educational session on Diversity & Inclusion. The focus was intended to highlight:
WHAT IS DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION?
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
HOW DO CLUBS GET STARTED IF THEY WANT
TO MAKE A STRONGER COMMITMENT TO
DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION?
Implementation
A dynamic virtual educational session was held, moderated by Ruth O'Rouke of James Madison University and featured panelists included ART DEAN DIRECTOR OF JMU ,OFFICE OF INCLUSION, JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY, MARK TUNNEY, GENERAL MANAGER & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, UNION LEAGUE OF CHICAGO, CAROL BLISS, GENERAL MANAGER & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER CHILTON CLUB. This was a very welcomed session and is continued to be shared. It was a great start.
