There were many good ideas that came out of these chats as well as things to think about how to improve our chapter.  The board came away with immediate ideas on changing the days and times of chapter meetings, but other ideas like onboarding for new and existing members are a work in progress.

Implementation

We have done many online surveys without much participation.  We decided to divide the membership amongst board members for them to call the chapter members for a one on one approach to getting their feedback on the chapter.  The chapter members who participated felt they were heard and it gave a personal touch which was appreciated.  And we also received more information to enhance our membership experience than we ever did using a online survey.
