Chapter Idea Fair
Midwest Regional Education Forum
Wisconsin Badger Chapter & Upper Midwest Chapter
Entry Details
Five chapters come together every other year to host the Midwest Regional Education Forum (MREF). In 2020 the event took place in Madison, WI. The MREF enhances the five chapters by offering relevant professional development at an affordable price, allowing clubs throughout the midwest to send GM's and mid-managers to participate in three days of education and networking.
Implementation
Together we offered affordable, local, high-level education. Fifteen credits, 6 of which where CMI credits, were made available during this three-day event. 20/20 Vision was the theme for the Forum. Speakers included an opening keynote presentation by CMAA CEO, Jeff Morgan and Chairman, Mark Bado. The Forum continued with excellent presentations from Duane Grischow, Anna Sullins & Scott Mclean from Biltmore, Dan Miles from Club Benchmarking, Business Intellignece by GGA & CMAA, Club Designs by Charlie Turner with Chambers and a closing keynote by Rachel Sheerin, F THIS S.
Attendees were also able to take part in a community outreach program building bikes for area children in need.
Sponsorship from various vendors, speakers and the host chapters, allowed us to keep the registration fee to $225 per person for sponsoring chapter members and only $275 for non-sponsoring chapter members.
