Special Olympics World Record Event

Entry Details

The goal of the World Record event was to raise $25,000 for the Special Olympics of Nebraska while building our allied chapter partnership with the NGCSA and Nebraska Section PGA. While our Nebraska golf alliance focuses mostly on legislative advocacy, this event provided community support and brought allied members together for a common cause bigger than ourselves.

Implementation

We raised sponsorships and leaned on our alliance with the NGCSA and Nebraska Section PGA to make this event a success.  Working collectively made this event bigger than we could have imagined and left members feeling proud of their efforts to help the mission of the Special Olympics. This fall, we look forward to having the Special Olympics continue the dialogue on how our member clubs can continue to practice inclusion within our facilities.
