Stem to Stemware

Entry Details

We were inspired and blended 2 interest groups; Wine Society and Women in Club Management to create the Stem to Stemware event.  With the idea of marrying wine and design, we partnered with 2 vendors; a floral designer and a champagne house to be featured.  We have strengthened both partnerships with these vendors through this opportunity and inspired club managers to bring this event to their own clubs.

Implementation

In the event, the basics of centerpiece design to create a seasonal-inspired table centerpiece were featured along with a wine education on champagne with tastings.  Expert tips to maximize the enjoyment of both wine and beautiful centerpieces for every occasion were shared.  The instructors guided us through the course by also giving valuable insights on how to extend the life of your floral arrangements and enhance your wine experience.  The event was a sell out with rave reviews and social media hits.  Décor and nibbles were Paris inspired and many beautiful photos were shared.
