Entry Details

The GA Chapter began using different colored lanyards to help ease the stress of "trying" to being included. Both new members and all guests are given a red Ga Chapter lanyard connected to their nametag. Present chapter members have the opportunity to introduce themselves to new members and meet guests quickly therefore eliminating the wait of a self introduction to the entire chapter. These introductions of all members occur at the start of every meeting we hold.

Implementation

This idea was designed & created by our membership committee with the thought that you can't always read a nametag from across the room but you see different colors. Their goal has always been to make new members feel comfortable at their first meeting and also get to know guests who may become future members.
