Wine Dinner

Entry Details

This year the chapter collaborated with the Johnson & Wales Student Chapter and held a wine dinner with the funds benefitting the Student Chapter. This event brought together the student and senior chapters and provided a wonderful learning experience for the students in planning and executing the event. This also served as a State of the Student Chapter for the JWU students to give an update on what the chapter has done so far this year and the new goals that have been set.

Implementation

The Wine Dinner was a collaboration between the JWU Student Chapter and the Dedham Country & Polo Club. Dedham Country & Polo Club General Manager, Ryan Kenny, CCM, CCE is the manager liaison for the JWU student chapter. Ryan worked with the students in the chapter to plan, promote and execute the event. The event was a resounding success with the membership, including drawing in members that do not regularly attend meetings. We look forward to holding this type of event in the future with our other Student Chapters.
