Chapter Idea Fair
Wine Society Lunches
Connecticut Chapter
Entry Details
The Connecticut Winemakers Luncheons provided a welcoming environment for all participants, regardless of their wine knowledge. The intimate setting of the winemaker's lunches promoted a deeper appreciation and understanding of wine. Initially prioritizing members of the National Wine Society, these sessions were rich with insights, empowering our members with invaluable tools and the confidence needed to mentor others and train their teams effectively at their clubs. This initiative has been a tremendous success, contributing to our chapter's growth and making it one of the most active memberships in the National Wine Society. Remarkably, our National Wine Society Membership has doubled from January to August, reflecting the program's impact and the enthusiasm it has sparked within our association.
Implementation
The Chapter Wine Society Chairperson works closely with the education and social committees to ensure our club professionals have every opportunity to expand their knowledge of wine, its pairings, presentation, and how to describe its attributes to club members. Due to the high interest generated, many chapter members eagerly joined the Wine Society to secure their spots.
