Rich Harvest Farms has a number of unique dining outlets across the property including an Automobile Museum, which houses the largest banquet room on property.

Special Club Features

Rich Harvest Farms is an ultra-private golf club in Sugar Grove, Illinois.  Located approximately 50 miles due west of Chicago, it was home to the 2009 LPGA Solheim Cup and 2017 NCAA Men and Women Division I Golf National Championships.  Hosting a number of unique events each year for the membership and owner, Rich Harvest Farms is truly a one-of-a-kind facility for members, guests, and employees.

Club is open 7 days per week, 8 months per year.

Brief Job Description

Rich Harvest Farms is a unique ultra-private golf club located 50 miles west of downtown Chicago.  The selected individuals will be run through every facet of banquet service, hotel service, inventory and ordering, and assist in other capacities dealing with golf operations, a la carte dining and housekeeping.  Single day rotations through the 501 3(c) charity run on-property, sales and marketing, golf course grounds, and ownership family meeting are also expected.  Interns will be able to learn and experience these operations in a lower volume setting, permitting a more thorough understanding of the day-in day-out business they are looking to pursue a career in.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates applying for the position must be able to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.  Candidates must be able to lift (50) lbs. with no restrictions, be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, exposure to heat, cold, and humidity.  Candidates must be able to work without supervision at times.  Rich Harvest Farms prefers candidates that are able to work the entire season (May 15th through October 31st) but may make accommodations for shorter duration internships if needed.

Educational Requirements

Candidates can be enrolled in any hospitality, sports management, business, or industry-related degree program. Recent graduates are welcome to apply as well.

Pay rate for position is $11.00 / hr. overtime eligible.

Limited employee housing is available on-site for $150.00 per month.  

Free staff uniforms are provided with position; individuals may need to furnish formal dress clothes and shoes potentially at their own expense.

Pro Shop discount of cost + 10% on all items.
