Lake Shore Country Club (LSCC) is a premier, member-owned club situated on the shores of Lake Michigan on 127 acres in Glencoe, Illinois just 25 miles north of Chicago. Founded in 1908, LSCC is truly a family-oriented club that offers its members the full range of sport amenities including 18-holes of golf, tennis, paddle and aquatics, in addition to formal and informal dining options and an active social calendar.

Brief Job Description

Position available for a Merchandising Intern in the Golf Shop at Lake Shore Country Club. Located on Chicago's exclusive north shore, Lake Shore is one of the premier country clubs in the Chicago area. The Golf Shop provides members with access to the latest golf fashion brands as well as equipment, accessories, and lifestyle clothing.

Merchandiser would have creative control over displays and will be encouraged to provide ideas regarding promotions and buying.

In addition to merchandising duties, day to day operations will include helping members while in the shop, answering questions via telephone or email, and other shop duties.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be enrolled in a four-year hospitality program or fashion/merchandising field. The candidate should be outgoing, possess excellent communication skills and be team-oriented. The candidate should be service and detail oriented. General knowledge of golf is a plus, but not required.
