Special Club Features

Throughout this rotational internship the candidate will spend the bulk of their time in the Front of House Food and Beverage department. The intern, under the direction of the Dining Room Captains and other foodservice managers, will execute high level food and beverage service. The intern serves as professional wait staff in the Club’s dining rooms and will gain service experience in banquets and special events. 

1-2 days a week the intern will rotate into other departments and be under the direction of that department manager and supervisors.  They will get exposure to club leadership on all levels and gain an understanding of Baltusrol’s entire operation.

“Personalizing” service by learning members’ names and preferences should always be a priority for staff, as well as functioning under the concept of “one team” by helping others in all rooms and positions.

This internship will feature an added educational element of peer club tours.  The successful candidates will be exposed to the various styles of private clubs through interactive tours of other local club facilities
