1930s Austin 7 Ice Cream Truck

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Our “Cream of the crop” 1930's Austin 7 Ice cream truck allows our members and guests to enjoy a refreshing treat on a hot summer’s day out on the golf course, in our chef’s garden, relaxing on the beach or at any number of other places and venues. It is the fourth “delectable” addition to our mobile food and beverage fleet. Our Austin 7 Ice cream truck is also a creative way to allow our members and their guests to stop for a moment whilst playing to admire our spectacular coastal location and surrounds.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We tastefully renovated and retro fitted a classic 1930’s Austin 7 into a mobile ice cream truck to add to our existing mobile F&B fleet. We have custom fitted a soft serve ice cream machine and also supply a delicious selection of premium natural organic ice blocks. Our Austin 7 has quickly become a real highlight for our members this summer. Additionally, we will be utilising the truck for a variety of community fundraisers, special celebrations and club events.
