1st Annual Color Run

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Our first time hosting a fun run was an absolute success! 150 members arrived in their fun run/walk white t- shirt & neon sunglasses only to be doused from head to toe in all color powders throughout the course on one of our golf nines! The race was so well received by all that members of all ages insisted it become an annual event.

How was this idea implemented and what have been the club members' reactions?

Members signed up very quickly for this event as soon as it was advertised through email and social media. Staff were placed along the course with bottles of colored powder to throw into the air when members ran by. Families had a blast & also enjoyed the ice cream truck waiting for them at the end!
