4 Court Tennis Conversion to 14 Pickleball Courts and 1 Tennis Court

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Installing these courts has resulted in more efficient use of space, serving more members per square foot and allowing more activities within one facility. Not only does this popular new activity open new markets for us to attract and target new members, but it does so with low investment in build, facility and staffing.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We converted four of our tennis courts into fourteen pickleball courts and one tennis court. This sport appeals to a much larger market than golf and tennis, creating new member growth opportunities. In just one year we've gone from zero to 500 members participating, two-thirds of which are non-tennis players.
