A Big Splash

Description

We made a big splash! Our Childcare Director coordinated a unique mesmerizing underwater experience by taking our youngest members under the sea. This mermaid camp created a magical space for our kids to meet a real mermaid while learning about ocean conservation and how they can help ocean life. Mermaid Aurelia shared ways to respect marine life all while having fun! Making waves with this new pool experience also gave more confidence to our little swimmers.

Implementation

We took one of our most popular summer spaces, the pool, and transformed it into an underwater experience for our kids. Our members were amazed by the uniqueness of this event and loved watching the excitement in their children's eyes. The attendees enjoyed learning all about ocean life with Mermaid Aurelia followed by a fun photo shoot with her. It was a magical afternoon and got our kids excited about other special camps to come!
