A Perfect Pairing

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

In order to appeal to parents, the Craft Beer and Wine event was scheduled in tandem with children's Laser Tag event taking place on the Front Circle. This way Farmington members and their children could spend a fun afternoon at the Club.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The serene Blue Ridge Mountain view and the newly constructed Terrace made Farmington the perfect location to host the Craft Beer and Wine Around tasting event. Local breweries and wineries set up on the North Lawn and brought their finest creations for members to sample.

Highlights of the event included:

• 10 local breweries and wineries
• Live music
• Lawn games
• Farmington Food Truck

The Craft Beer and Wine Around and Laser Tag supported Farmington and the community as well. Members appreciated the pairing of the two events and have requested another similar tasting event in the spring.
