How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Dothan Country Club's Clyde May's Bourbon Pairings Dinner was a perfect way to bring a true taste of Alabama to our membership.  Steeped in history and the finest commitment to quality in the state, Clyde May's full bourbon catalogue and Chef John's perfectly paired menu highlighted the flavors and spirit of Alabama living.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Our members adored having Clyde's grandson, L. C. May, give us the warm and often humorous history of each of his family's bourbons as we moved from course to course.  Our members were able to ask questions that arose after each tale, sip an undiluted sample of each whiskey if requested, and share an evening of fellowship, great bourbon, and fantastic food.
