Idea Fair
Ahead of the Game
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Kenwood Country Club is proud to be on the forefront of Name, Image & Likeness student-athlete activation in our industry. We've welcomed the partnership with our KCC Ambassadors, five women's collegiate golfers from two D-I Cincinnati universities, and we are proud to see the positive impact it’s provided with our employee recruitment and retention.
These young women are expanding the reach of our recruitment efforts through a peer-based approach, raising awareness of employment opportunities at Kenwood CC to a new audience: their classmates, followers and friends. This streamlined focus at hiring seasonal employees has had a positive impact on our hiring process and employee retention.
In addition, the program helps provide a local tie to our Club's determination to empower women in sport, enhancing the platform of University of Cincinnati and Xavier University's women's golf programs in the process. The mutually beneficial partnership also gives our KCC Ambassadors unprecedented access to the LPGA when we host the Kroger Queen City Championship.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Partnering with BSB Sports Group to conceptualize the idea, Kenwood created multimedia content to be shared across social media, our Club website and job forums. Our KCC Ambassadors have introduced themselves to our Employee Partners and Members with the mutual understanding of their goals with our Club. The KCC Ambassadors program was announced in the lead-up to hosting the LPGA at our Club for the Kroger Queen City Championship.
The majority of Members have supported the program since its inception, knowing that its success will only benefit their Member experience, bringing a higher level of service to our Club. Our Membership is proud to assist young athletes from our city's largest universities, and the program has boosted pride in our Club and city as a whole.
