Idea Fair

Angel Tree

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Angel Tree is an annual community donation outreach by the Salvation Army, where we help fulfill the holiday wishes of children in need. This year, we expanded the scope by inviting employees to participate alongside members, making it a true team effort. From makeup sets for teens to baby clothes for newborns, we answered the wishes of kids not just on our island, but beyond, making a real impact on families in need.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

To implement this, we set up a Christmas tree in the lobby with ornaments detailing children’s wishes and a bin for gift drop-offs. HR promoted the initiative, and the team worked together to ensure everything was organized and ready with a clear deadline to get the gifts back to the Salvation Army before Christmas. Thanks to the club’s collective efforts, we sent 40-50 gifts, leaving barely any wish unanswered. Members were astonished at how quickly wishes were fulfilled, showcasing the club’s commitment to giving back to our ‘ohana and beyond.
