How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, our members wanted to give back to the local community. With membership having close ties to the local medical facilities and hospitals, the Club created a special menu that was promoted to members who could sponsor meals to help serve essential workers and first responders. It was very well received by our membership — who has currently sponsored over 5,000 meals.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The promotion of the BCC Cares menu was advertised along all our other Curbside and To-Go menus. Club Management wanted to ensure the membership is well educated on the BCC Cares initiative and how the members can sponsor meals for first responders. The member participation level is clear a sign of the generosity within the values of the Baltimore Country Club membership.
