Idea Fair
Beyond the Toy Box
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Chevy identified an opportunity to enhance its existing Youth & Family Programming by offering a wider range of events to a larger scope of members. This year, our focus centered on improving and developing events tailored for children under 3, teenagers aged 13-17, and multi-generational audiences.
To achieve this, we evaluated existing events, seeking areas for improvement, and introduced new events to attract a more diverse membership base. Our commitment to innovation led us to explore unconventional event spaces, allowing us to tap into creative possibilities and make the most of the Club’s facilities.
In addition, we continued to focus on creating a “plus one” aspect for every event. We want members to share these experiences with friends or family. This strategy has resulted in a wide range of opportunities for members to actively engage with the Club and foster social connections among themselves. Most importantly, it has fostered a spirit of fun amongst membership!
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Chevy successfully improved and introduced multiple events this year, catering to an even broader audience of members. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with a significant number of members enthusiastically signing up for these events. The influx of positive comments from members encourages us to continue introducing engaging and creative ideas to maintain the spirit of fun!
