How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Builder Program at St. Andrews Country Club has been very successful over the years. The Builder Program allows professional contractors and investors to buy a home within the community and remodel or rebuild it to be move in ready for the next member. The Builders pay a special initiation fee and full club dues and fees and are allowed limited access to the club’s facilities.

It has enhanced our operation because they purchase homes that prospective members usually don’t want to buy and make then move in ready for the next member who wants to buy it.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

This idea is communicated and handled from the Membership Department. The idea was created by the Membership and Legal Committees with the General Manager and Communications & Members Services Director. The members are very supportive of the Builder Program because they have seen its rapid success. It makes their community look new and raises their real estate values, while also attracting a younger membership.
