Bunkers-Splash Park- and Fitness Center

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Our newly developed master plan was split into three phases, with the stop of a $7 million renovation. Phase 1, which has recently begun, targets a bunker renovation, sports complex, and state-of-the-art splash park. The bunkers will be receiving Pro Angle Sand and will be reshaped and redesigned by the original course architect from our opening in 1992. We will be renovating our fitness facility with brand new equipment, a new fitness studio and adding a main hub into our re-designed sports complex. We are also very excited for the addition of a state-of-the-art splash park which includes spray features, waterslides, and a massive bucket dump! Phase 1 is on schedule and our members are very excited.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The creation of this renovation program began with the implementation a capital dues program. Capital dues are $40 a month for social members and $60 a month for golf members. This will help generate funds to begin the projects. As a give back to our membership, we have eliminated our food and beverage minimums. Furthermore, we have created a master plan website that allows our membership to see the renovations happening and peruse all visuals of the projects. Transparency is very important to us, and our members greatly appreciate it.
