Celebrating 100 Years

Description

Established in 1919, Somerset Country Club in Saint Paul, Minnesota, celebrated its 100th anniversary last year.

The hard work and dedication of both members and staff resulted in numerous successful events highlighting this milestone.

Implementation

Countless committee meetings and volunteerism of members was crucial to the success of the centennial.

The centennial committee chairwoman was extremely organized and willing to put in the time. She put her trust in the staff to be creative, and was receptive and supportive of their ideas.

Member feedback throughout the season was very positive and celebratory. Members' were very gracious in regards to the efforts of the staff, and appreciative of their special touches throughout the year.
