How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The positive impact this has had on our organization transcends team building and club culture. Our team is truly making an impact in the communities in which they live and they are genuinely appreciative that the organization they work for supports and facilitates these opportunities for them.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Our “Champions for Change” Team was created with two goals in mind. First, how can we, as employees, give back to our greater Palm Beach County Community, and second, how can we encourage staff from various teams to spend time getting to know one another? Our first outing in the summer of 2022 was with Friends of Juno Beach, where the team picked up over 40 pounds of trash and debris. Those who attended were surprised at just how rewarding the experience was and how much they enjoyed spending time with fellow coworkers in a new and different setting. Since then, we’ve packed backpacks for children in need, sorted diapers for Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies, and sorted food at a local food bank.
