The introduction of “HIVE Honey,” sourced from our very own Admirals Cove bees, has significantly enhanced our club’s operations and enriched the member experience in a multitude of ways. Managed by beekeeper Sierra Malnove and Director of Agronomy Andy Kjos, our bees produce honey with distinctive flavors, thanks to the diverse flora accessible across our twelve hives. This venture has evolved into a comprehensive community effort, yielding honey of exceptional quality and variety.

HIVE Honey’s impact extends beyond the jars sold at our Bluewater Boutique and Marina Market; it’s woven into the fabric of our operations through its incorporation in menu items and cocktails, offering a taste of Admirals Cove’s unique environment. Moreover, the brand has inspired honey-infused spa treatments at Bluewater Spa, highlighting our commitment to natural and premium ingredients. This initiative has diversified our offerings, emphasizing sustainability and wellness, and thus significantly improving the club’s service and product range.

Implementing the HIVE Honey initiative required a strategic approach, from beekeeping and honey production to integrating this natural sweetener into our culinary and spa offerings. The unique flavors of HIVE Honey, including truffle salt, chipotle, lime, raspberry, and the standout rose gold honey, have been creatively used in our restaurant menus and cocktail creations, enhancing the dining experience with a local touch.

The launch of honey-infused spa treatments, like the HIVE Honey Scrub and the Signature HIVE Honey Facial, further extends the application of our honey, offering luxurious wellness experiences rooted in the natural benefits of honey.
