Collaborative Chef's Table
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The Chef's Table has been a popular concept at the Cosmos Club for quite some time. It has given members the opportunity for a fine dining experience and get to know our Executive Chef, while also giving our culinary team the ability to test out potential new menu items. This Collaborative Chef's Table, hosted in July, gave our full culinary team the opportunity to flex their creative muscles, while encouraging healthy collaboration. As each of the Chefs that worked on the menu presented their dishes to the members, it also gave them confidence with more face to face member interaction. It brought a sense of pride to our entire team and helped realize their potential.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Like many great ideas, this one was bred from necessity, as Chef Will could no longer be in attendance the evening the dinner was advertised. Rather than opting to cancel, he viewed this as an opportunity pass the torch to the rest of his team, giving them the chance to grow and giving our members the opportunity to experience a new side of the Cosmos team. Our members were thrilled to be able to get to know new individuals on our culinary team through their innovative menu ideas.
