Concerts on the Range

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Concerts on the Range were implemented to engage members in fun activities during the pandemic - while keeping a comfortably safe distance. They provided an outlet for pent-up demand for social Club activities, and also garnered some food & beverage sales.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We transformed the Driving Range into an outdoor concert venue, brought in bands, and sold food and beverage. For the first one, we painted circles and assigned "seating" to assure proper distancing. (Once conditions improved and vaccinations were available, we allowed members to seat themselves.)

Members were overjoyed with the events! They loved gathering, especially after so much time apart, and the outdoor music festival-type atmosphere was such a huge hit that we may continue it far beyond the pandemic.
