How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
This interactive event involved members being invited behind the scenes and into our primary kitchen to experience firsthand how meals are prepared at the club and to “connect” with the people who prepare their meals daily.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Similar to a “Chef’s Table” this group of members got to bridge the gap between the culinary team and themselves. They could both observe and participate while bonding among themselves and with the team. The members loved to see and learn what was previously a bit of a mystery. They literally could participate and learn the “secret sauce” that makes Fiddler’s the award-winning culinary club that we are. It was also an opportunity to take advantage of our spacious state-of-the-art kitchen that allowed for a large group to participate. Live music and dancing was a bonus.
